Refugee Education Support Program 2022-2023 Application Process Now Open!

The application process for the 2022-2023 round of the Refugee Education Support Program (RESP) is now open! RESP 2022-2023 is open to all schools (DET, MACS & ISV) in the following Local Government Areas of Victoria: Greater Dandenong, Casey, Cardinia, Hume, Moreland, Melton, Wyndham and Wodonga.

The Refugee Education Support Program is a two-year, regional cluster-based program, aimed at assisting schools to identify and implement strategies which have a positive impact on the achievement, engagement, and wellbeing outcomes of students from refugee backgrounds and their families.

RESP is funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET) and is free of charge for all participating schools. RESP is implemented in partnership with Foundation House and the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) and delivered in collaboration with Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS) and independent Schools Victoria (ISV).

Foundation House & The Centre for Multicultural Youth

Foundation House and the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) will be hosting two online RESP 2022-2023 information sessions. These sessions will provide interested schools with an overview of the RESP program, how it works and how it has benefitted past school’s involved in the program. The sessions will give participants the opportunity to hear from past RESP schools and consider where RESP can algin with the school improvement process.

Date & time: Tuesday 10 August, 8:00-8:45am and 3:30-4:15pm
