Professional Learning | New teacher induction: RESP alumni schools Northern region   

Course Outline

This session is designed to assist schools who have previously participated in the Refugee Support Program (RESP) to sustain their ability to support students of refugee background by ensuring that new staff are inducted into the Foundation House whole-school approach. The module covers: 

  • Common elements of the refugee experience 
  • The role of schools in supporting trauma recovery  
  • Strategies to support students of refugee background
