Sharing Success and Looking Forward – Supporting Afghan Families in Schools

This event provides an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate, the recent work done by and with our partner schools in supporting the Afghan communities in Victoria. It is also a chance to come together and plan for addressing the ongoing needs and challenges.

Content includes:

  • An overview of the programs offered by Foundation House and sharing of experiences and outcomes from schools who have participated in the range of programs
  • A panel (Q&A) of school professionals from the South-East along with Afghan Community Engagement (ACE) team and Education and Early Years staff
  • Networking and strategizing for ongoing support in schools.

Suitable for:

All school professionals and those working alongside schools, who are supporting families of Afghan backgrounds.



Foundation House Education & Early Years Program is able to provide a professional development program to teachers and those working in and with schools through the support of the Department of Education and Training, therefore no charge to participants for this workshop.
